Bodog/Bovada payout problem

Bodog/Bovada payout problem
Just a heads up for any of you that primarily use Bovada. I'll be updating this thread as my situation progresses.

On 12/10 I requested payout from Bodog. Even though I've requested payouts from them before, they said I needed to fill out the proper authorization form. I did that evening, and had received an email from them within a couple of hours stating that I had been verified and the payout request will process.

(Insert Bodog changing to Bovada here)

Over a week had passed and the status for my payout request showed that I needed to complete the verification form. I sent them an email 12/19 asking the status of my payout. I got a generic email back stating they had already received the proper documents and had already began processing my payout request. Funny thing is, shortly after that, my payout status changed to processed, and that I'd be receiving a tracking number. I was reminded that it may take 15 business days before I receive my check. It kind of seems like they made a mistake and didn't process my payment until I followed up, but they never admitted any mistake.

It's now Dec 29th and I still don't have a tracking number or any sign of my check, so I'll have to follow up with them yet again. I can understand having to wait for a check, but it just seems fishy to me that nothing has seemed to progress withing my emailing them. Maybe a different payout method is better, but as I mentioned, just trying to give everyone a heads up.

Since then, I've primarily been using BetOnline, and have been very pleased with the service there.

Use the live customer service option. Far more likely to get some assistance that way.

Thanks for the post, thek. This is precisely why I have been telling people for months to wait until the switch was made before joining Bodog / Bovada. Anytime a company has a changeover, there are always a few problems, miscommunications, etc., that take place.

Bodog has one of the best reputations in the industry when it comes to paying players. There is also a representative here in the forum who should be able to assist you.

I wouldn't worry about getting your money, as I'm sure your funds are safe. Let's see if you get a response here today. If not, I'll try to assist you.

We’re sorry to hear that you’re experiencing delays with your payout. We did not change ownership, we are still run by Morris Mohawk Gaming Group - it's just the brand name that has changed.

All time frames for payouts have remained the same. If you would like to PM us your account number, we will be happy to have someone contact you and discuss this further.

They mentioned that you wanted them to verify that their “Bovada Service” forum account was really them. They asked us to confirm with you that it is indeed someone working for MMGG/Bovada that is controlling that account.

First off, I want to clarify that I wasn't trying to 'flame' Bovada by starting this post. I mainly just wanted to warn others if their payout may have been in transition during the switch.

Bovada sent a PM on this board, and also called me. Their customer service is friendly and thorough.

Unfortunately, the customer service rep estimated that I will not receive my payment until sometime around January 18. If you recall, I requested the payout on December 10. That seems a little ridiculous to me. But, as they say, it is what it is. I'm at their mercy.

Apparently Bovada Customer Service is still reading this forum. I received another message from Bovada today. Bottom line, they credited my account $15 and apologized. This is definitely a nice gesture, and I appreciate their customer service.

Decided to make a withdrawal myself on Bodog. Will also update on my progress. I'm expecting to receive a check between late January and early February.

The check cleared without issues. I'm sure your payout will be more prompt than mine was. Mine was just processing during the conversion.

I have the same problem with Bovada. Sent emails to them and all I ever received is their automated response. Called them and got a run around. Still waiting for my payment requested 12/24/11.

Can anyone tell me if I can transfer my existing balance to another site?

Been a customer of Bodog for years. Never a problem till this change.

My guess is they don't have the money. Why 3 wee3ks to get paid?
