I'm waiting until halftime and will hope Illinois takes a first half lead. If an opportunity presents itself, I'll pile on the Hawkeyes to come back against quite possibly the most mentally weak B1G team I've ever seen.

Should be an interesting game. Looking forward to Bruce's desperate pacing.

I'm hoping he tries to sneak in as a sixth defender like he did in the Nebraska game

well you are spotting a 4 point lead to Illinois if you compare to the original wager, So I think you are ahead still.


You bet the game tied and got 2.5 points where you would be betting a 4 point lead and having to get 4.5, so half point in one half as compared to 2.5 for the whole game.

I am not sure if there is logic behind this lol

Yeah that makes sense. I always sort of look at it as, these teams will play more "true to form" over 40 minutes than they will over 20, so in a case like this, the 4-point halftime lead shouldn't matter that much. If Illinois is 2.5 points better than Iowa over 40 minutes, getting Iowa at +4.5 is good value.

Now that I think about it, though, that probably doesn't contain much logic either.
