Betting MLB every day?
We're headed for an absolute hell stretch. I hate July. The worst month for betting. I typically only bet MLB in the first month or so and then dabble in the ensuing months.
By the All-Star break, I might become completely and utterly disinterested as I instead decide to focus on college football and NFL. How many of you are betting MLB every day? Anybody not betting anything, like, at all? Other sports? On Twitter: @beyondthebets |

RE: Betting MLB every day?
As a dog player, I bet MLB in April and May-- and into June depending on how I'm doing. July 1st is cutoff date. Waiting on CFB then (may bet an NFL exhibition or 2 since by then I'm starved for football) I've tried Arena and CFL and basically can't pick a winner-- and no way do I bet women playing baskets with a ball about half-an-inch bigger than a tennis ball.
Also--- for what it's worth- I usually quit CFB Nov 1-- after that it's concentrate on CBB. And-- I don't bet NFL or NBA. |

RE: Betting MLB every day?
It's actually something I'm embarrased to admit, but yes, I do bet on baseball every day. I'm one of those guys who needs to have action. Wait, let me rephrase that. I'm one of those guys that "enjoys" having action. Actually, needs is probably a better word. I hope G.A is not in my future!!

RE: Betting MLB every day?
I'll bet MLB everyday that I am "handicapping" but am not shy about taking days off, especially right before the All-Star break where I usually get a little burned out.
I've also been betting Wimbledon, PGA Golf and the EURO but that's more of me following some guys I respect and not so much my own work. |

RE: Betting MLB every day?
Baseball is the one sport that I'm not very good at betting. College basketball and football are my strong points. I'm pretty decent at NFL and killed the Euro this year, but no matter what, I can never seem to get a grip on baseball. I rarely bet it anymore. Aside from maybe a couple WNBA games, I will probably hang up the pencil until the start of CFB.

RE: Betting MLB every day?
I bet MLB every day. Unlike most people, I enjoy the grind of the MLB season. I like getting to know the teams and players; I feel like I have more invested in baseball players, since I'm tracking their performance for almost half of the calendar year.

RE: Betting MLB every day?
I think I bet less on baseball because of fantasy. Play in a $100/team 12-team (keeper) league, so I feel invested throughout the season. It also helps that each statistic can earn you money, as well. Pays out $x-amount for each of the statistical leaders at season's end. So if your team hits the most HR's, drives in the most runs, picks up the most saves etc., you win some of your investment back, even if you miss the playoffs.
That seems to be enough to keep me occupied during the season. I honestly couldn't handle the grind of placing bets every day during MLB.
