Belmont June 9th, think we might have a cold deck exacta brewing....
Its really looking like a cold deck exacta of I'll Have Another to Dullahan..

This race kind of reminds me of the 98 Belmont with Real Quiet and Victory Gallop.. Although that day I liked VG more, this time I like IHA more.. IHA could win big, he can easily get this distance, jockey seems like a sharp kid. Wont move early or do make any dick moves like recent previous jockeys (antley (1999), Elliott (2004), Borel (2009)

1st: I'll Have Another
2nd: Dullahan

I don't know much about horse racing. I do know that the owner of IHA will do everything in his power to make sure he has the triple crown. And no matter what happens after race day, by then the ticket will already be a winner/loser.

I think Doug O'Neill has made all the right moves so far.. He knows his horse.

no problem.. I've been betting on horse racing since the age of 8.

Its a bet that means in exact order. For example for this to win, I'll Have Another would HAVE to win and Dullahan would HAVE to run 2nd. Cold deck meaning nothing else wagered, just IHA to dullhan straight up exacta.

Now there is something called an "exacta box" which means either horse can win or run 2nd, in either order.. With the regular exacta, the cold deck one I was referring to IHA will have to win and Dullahan will have to run 2nd, if Dullahan wins and IHA runs 2nd I lose. But if I boxed I'd win.

Oh I see. Ok makes sense. Didn't know what the term cold deck meant. Thanks for the insight.

I might be off base here.. but if you're that confident in the 1-2 finish... why go "cold-deck?"

Why not add a tri- or superfecta with I'll have another and Dullahan? Don't have to box them, so you wouldn't be risking much at all. Worried about the payout being too low for those?
