After what happened last year, i refuse to call any team a lock for anything, but the Angels certainly are within the top 2 or 3 contenders range.

That 1, 2, 3 of Weaver, Greinke, Wilson is among the best if not the best in baseball. They will be extremely difficult to beat in a playoff series.

Only real question now is can they catch the Rangers and lock down a playoff spot instead of playing a 1 gamer where anything can happen.

Angels are 11-to-1 to win the World Series at 5Dimes. Also, they are 5.5-to-1 to win the American League. Not sure what they were before the trade.

Gota hand it to Arte. Whatever you think of the deal hes putting his money and faith where his mouth is. He wants World Championships.....I'll tip my hat to that. He went and got Albert, he put together a formidable pitching staff and with stars like Trout and Trumbo blossoming better than expected this is one formidable bunch. Not a guarantee of course anything can happen in baseball. This is one tough team.
