All Star Game MVP????
Guys, I've got plays on both Melky Cabrera and Pablo Sandoval to win the MVP.

So far Sandoval is 1 for 2, with his one hit being a bases clearing, three run triple in the 1st inning to put the NL up 4-0.

Cabrera is 2 for 3. Single and scored first run of game in first inning, and later hit a two run homer to put NL up 8-0.

I'm hoping Sandoval wins it (pays more), but he got yanked for David Wright after two AB's. If Melky wins it I'm obviously very happy with that too. The only other guy that I think could win it is Ryan Braun who had the first RBI of the game, is 2 for 3 with two triples, and made a nice catch to end the 4th.

What do you guys think? Am I looking good? I've never had a wager on an MVP before, so I'm not really sure how to feel at this point. Could they make Tony Larussa the MVP? That would be horrible.

Thanks!

Unless Chipper gets it as a "lifelong achievement" award, you should be fine with Panda/Melkman.

Still can't get over how close Sandoval's first-inning triple came to being a home run. Another foot or two and that was a 50-1 payout. (Will first home run be a grand slam?)

Yup, that was brutal for me too. I actually had first home run to be a 3 run shot (+600) so it wouldn't have mattered there...but I did have the Panda to hit the first hr of the game at +1500. If that did go out it would have for sure given him MVP, it was a double wammie. In the end though, it was a monster of a day for me, being a Giants fan...I unloaded on the NL to win, first 5, and Melky MVP. At the last minute I thought that since there's no baseball for a couple of days, I should just risk everything in my account...so either I can do a big payout today, or I have a couple of days to get over the loss and start fresh. It's the most money I've made in one day all season...by far. I just don't get how the NL could be such big dogs?? +132?? With their pitching? I know the AL has a powerful lineup, but we all know that good pitching tends to minimize good hitting.

So the big question is.....Seattle Storm -8?
