You guys seemed fairly divided on the side, so I decided to go with the over, which received lukewarm — but nonetheless unanimous — support. The number, of course, isn't good. And I should have placed it a few hours ago.

But rules are rules. Forty-five minutes prior to tip.

I'm going to say UNI +11, maybe we can get 12 as we wait. St. Mary's has a very young team and I think they'll look to rotate a lot of guys in. Meanwhile, I think UNI is good enough defensively. My fear would be point scoring for them.

The time of the game could be a problem for UNI, but maybe St. Mary's has been playing CoD MW3 all week.

I doubt I'll be awake for it, but for the CS Northridge/Hawaii game (11pm local start) I would knee-jerk....

...light lean toward CS Northridge +13.5....

...and moderately strong lean toward Under 136.0.

Hawaii will be playing younger players (as they are more talented) and as such will need the first third of the season to gel.

That, and a 11pm tip-off should make for some low paced, low FG% basketball.
