Mayweather is just too fast and slick for the robotic Cotto. He will attack Cotto from angles and eventually wear him down late in the fight. Cotto should make it good fight for the first 5 or 6 rounds but after that its all down hill.
If you guys remember one of my biggest bets of the year was on Cotto when he fought Margarito at M.S.G. The reason why I bet him wasn't his skills but the condition of Margaritos vision out of his right eye.
My good friend Mike Jones was on the undercard fighting Sebastion Lujan and had informed me that the fight might be moved to Texas because Margarito could not pass his eye exam. After some Back door grease job the Promoters some how got the N.Y Boxing commision to allow Margarito to fight.
Cotto will be overvalued coming off a very impressive win against a one eyed fighter and the recreational better who bets on Boxing will more than likely be willing to bet on the underdog here. Floyd Mayweather Jr -700 Miguel Cotto +500
The only way I would look at betting this fight would be Floyd Mayweather Jr by Ko,Tko,Dq +125, Floyd Mayweather Jr by Decision +100
With that said Mayweather does have some serious distractions on his mind and even though he acts like going to Jail (not Prison) does not bother him, he is full of shit. I do have experiance being in that position and you just cant think 100% the same way in that position.
Cotto is a warrior and will fight to the end and the average gambler loves this +500 but his skills just don't measure up to a fighter with such pedigree. Floyd Mayweather was born in a Boxing ring and his Father and Uncle know the business..
In my opinion the only 2 fighters who have a shot at beating Floyd is Manny Pacquiao and Mike Jones but untill they fight we will never know.. I can't bet this fight and will just have to hope it is very entertaining to watch..

The pending jail time thing is a serious distraction imo. Probably won't play but I just can't see him being as focused as usual.

The jail distraction will affect his training but since Floyd is always in great shape I don't see it as a huge edge for Cotto. Getting punched in the face has a way of waking you up real fast and making you focused.

He's flamboyant but was told to chill out with rubbing people the wrong way with it..

Why would anyone care about Sarah Jessica Parker or whatever that girl from ESPN is. Before anyone follows any gambler or handicapper the first thing you should do is ask them to show you a screen shot or a ticket of what they bet.
I have no problems with a handicapper who doesnt gamble real money and gives his opinion on games as long as he states the facts.
Now respecting his opinion is an entire other conversation. If people would just be honest about who they are and what they do the world would be a much better place.
Whether you bet 5 dollars a game or 5,000 dollars a game you are gambling and have taken a position on a game and I will always give you props for putting your money where your mouth is.
Stop worrying about who is phony and who isnt because if you really wanted to know its really easy to find out. Like I said before I don't see no Ferraris in their parking lot.
