That Crappy Feeling You Shouldn't Have But Do - The Peoples Champ - 12-05-2011 11:45 PM I can't be the only one that gets the feeling after a huge, blowout win like the Chargers game tonight, that you should have put more money down then you did. Obviously, common sense sets in and tells you you're an idiot for thinking that because if it goes the other direction, you're screwed, but does anyone else have that thought run across their mind? RE: That Crappy Feeling You Shouldn't Have But Do - Pb1922 - 12-05-2011 11:52 PM Yeah, but I cannot be the only person to take a bath on the chargers earlier this year ATS......those guys are impossible to figure out RE: That Crappy Feeling You Shouldn't Have But Do - KepowOb - 12-06-2011 12:02 AM I've thought it from time to time, but I just remind myself that havng good BR management is important. It's easy to look smart after the fact, but that crappy feeling for not putting a ton of money on a "sure bet" would feel a lot worse if you put all that money in there and you lost. When I made my first online sports bets, I made some big bets that hit, and it was probably the worst thing that could have happened as it made me over confident in my abilities... Having a big score can be a good thing, but if your constantly finding the best spots your account will grow, and if you make smart bet sizes, it'll grow in a better and less stressful way. "No gambler ever puts enough money on a winning ticket." ;) RE: That Crappy Feeling You Shouldn't Have But Do - Beyond the Bets - 12-06-2011 10:13 AM Only thing I'm mad about is that I didn't grab a football out of my closet and spike it after winning on the over 39.5 with roughly 27 minutes of game time left. Beat me to it. RE: That Crappy Feeling You Shouldn't Have But Do - The Peoples Champ - 12-06-2011 10:33 AM Lol, good stuff guys, thanks for the responses! RE: That Crappy Feeling You Shouldn't Have But Do - louiemdj - 12-06-2011 10:38 AM The key is don't try and bet more money on an upcoming game to try and make up for the extra you thought you should bet on this game. Just keep winning 53%+ and you'll get there eventually. RE: That Crappy Feeling You Shouldn't Have But Do - ChiefZilla - 12-06-2011 10:43 AM Yep, I also should've parlayed it with all my other winners for a HUGE payout. That thought, however stupid it is, crosses my mind if I'm on a hot streak.
