Western Conference Finals - JetsMetsRangers - 05-10-2012 01:13 PM

My site has the Coyotes at +145 and the Kings at -165. Is there a play here? I think the Kings will advance, but at -165, I'm not going to touch it. Coyotes have a shot, but this seems like the kind of series where suspended Raffi Torres would be so helpful.

Coyotes now up to +150. I'll be breaking down this series tomorrow, but I do think there is some value in Phoenix at that price. LA was dominant against St. Louis, but I think there are a lot of people that think LA stomped Vancouver and that is far fromt he truth. The Kings did not dominate that series. Yes they won in 5, but they scored really late off a bad Vancouver turnover in game 1, Quick stole games 2 and 3, and then of course the OT winner in game 5. If they play that series again the same exact way I think it at least goes 7 and does that make us view the Kings differently? Not sure.

Mike Smith can do the same thing Quick did to Vancouver so I think +150 is way too much especially since Phoenix has a great coach in Tippett. I would not play LA at that price.
