The official seeds aren’t yet known, and won’t be until later this week, but college basketball conference tournament odds are already out.
Sportsbook.ag became the first offshore to release them on Monday, offering team-by-team odds in each of the six major conferences.
The most interesting tournament could be the Pac-12, where Arizona and UCLA are listed as co-favorites at 2.6-to-1. Three other teams—Oregon (+400), Colorado (+500) and California (+500)—figure to have a realistic chance of taking the crown.
Elsewhere …
- Duke and Miami, fresh off a weekend thriller, are listed as +150 favorites to win the ACC. The two North Carolina schools are priced at 5-to-1, followed by potential sleeper Virginia at +700.
- In the Big 12, it’s Kansas (-140) and … the rest (all teams +500 or worse).
- It seems that the Big East yields a surprise winner almost every year. Could Marquette (+600) or Pittsburgh (+800) pull off a few upsets and steal the title from favored Louisville (+180)?
- As many as eight teams could win the Big Ten title, but Indiana (+120) has the best chance.
- How brutal is the SEC this year? Is anybody willing to pick a team other than favored Florida (-140)?
