PrintThis summer, 5Dimes did something that had never been done before: They released win totals for all 124 FBS teams in college football.
Now that the regular season is over (except for the Army-Navy game on Saturday), it’s time to judge how each team did respective to its win total.

Out of 124 teams, there were 60 overs, 61 unders and 3 pushes. Not a bad job by 5Dimes.

BIGGEST OVERACHIEVER | KENT STATE
Win Total: 5.5 (over -120)
Final Record: 11-1
Biggest Upset: +425 at Rutgers (W 35-23)
Quick Recap: The Golden Flashes were coming off five straight losing seasons, but that didn’t stop second-year coach Darrell Hazell from turning in perhaps the greatest year in program history. After losing at Kentucky in Week 2, Kent State rattled off 10 straight victories, including four as underdogs.
RUNNER UP #1 | OREGON STATE

Biggest Upset: +260 at UCLA (W 27-20)
Quick Recap: The Beavers, coming off a 3-9 season, surpassed their win total in the first five games of the season in the midst of a 6-0 start. Four of Oregon State’s first five victories were as underdogs, including one as an 8-point dog (at UCLA) and two more catching 6 points (vs. Wisconsin, at BYU).
RUNNER UP #2 | SAN JOSE STATE

Biggest Upset: +120 vs. BYU (W 20-14)
Quick Recap: We should have seen what was coming when the Spartans hung tough in a 20-17 loss as 25.5-point underdogs at Stanford in Week 1. San Jose State went 10-2 against the spread, closing the season on a six-game winning streak. A bigger school should and will snatch up Mike MacIntyre soon.
