Week 4 point spreads for college football were released over the weekend, and we’ve provided all the updated lines (along with openers) below.
The most notable tidbit about comparing openers to current lines is that the amount of movement is decreasing. We’ve just about reached the point where oddsmakers and sharp bettors agree more on their stances with particular teams, meaning we’re not seeing as many 3-7 point shifts early in the week.
Some games of note:
- Fourth-ranked Florida State is a two-touchdown favorite at home over No. 10 Clemson. The Seminoles, who have given up only three total points during a 3-0 start, opened at -12 but were quickly bet up. The Tigers won this matchup 35-30 last year in Clemson.
- No. 15 Kansas State is currently a 13.5-point underdog at No. 6 Oklahoma. The game opened with the Sooners favored by 14.5, but was quickly bet down below the key number.
- No. 11 Notre Dame, out to a 3-0 start for the first time in 10 years and coming off a dominating 20-3 win at Michigan State, is now a touchdown favorite over 18th-ranked Michigan.
