College Football Week 3 Lines: Michigan State still favored by more than 3 against Irish

September 10, 2012

Week 3 point spreads for college football were released over the weekend, and we’ve provided all the updated lines below.

One of the biggest games, Alabama-Arkansas, is still off the board as we wait to hear the status of Razorbacks quarterback Tyler Wilson, who took a blow to the head in his team’s collapse against Louisiana-Monroe.

Some games of note:

  • USC is currently a 10-point favorite at Stanford. It opened at 9, but we wouldn’t be surprise if the number kept creeping up a little higher. (We had it projected at USC -11.)
  • Michigan State opened as a 4-point favorite at home against Notre Dame before being bet down to 3.5. We projected it to stay under a field goal.
  • Arizona State, which has looked awfully impressive in its first two games under Todd Graham, is a touchdown underdog at Missouri. Before the season started, we thought this game would be closer to a two-touchdown spread, which shows just how much public perception has swung in favor of Graham’s Sun Devils.
