Obama’s site launches 2012 NCAA Tournament Bracket Contest, but the prize is a bummer

President Barack Obama’s official website launched a 2012 NCAA Tournament bracket contest shortly after the 68-team field was announced on Sunday.

The problem? The prize stinks! 

While mainstream sites like Fox, CBS, ESPN and Yahoo! Sports are offering millions in prize money, the White House will award “winners” — those whose brackets score higher than Obama’s — the following:

We’ll publish a list of everyone who does better than the President here on BarackObama.com after the tournament is over.

What? That’s it!?

Why not an official visit to the White House? Or a game of HORSE in the courtyard? Or, better yet, an opportunity to sit courtside next to Obama at a Bulls game? Or a Georgetown game?

Or one of dozens of other games he’ll be attending this year?
