“We’re hopeful that we’ll start bargaining and we’ll continue bargaining until we find a way to make a deal,” NHLPA executive director Donald Fehr told reporters on Tuesday before talks resumed at the bargaining table. “We certainly hope we’ll be continuing to meet on a regular basis. I hope they do, too. I’m just not making any predictions.”
No one closely involved with the dispute will make any predictions, but Bovada is willing to.
Those odds suggest about a 55 percent chance that there will be no NHL season.
Looking for a glimmer of hope?
When Bovada released those odds yesterday, “Yes” was listed at -200, which means that someone out there was naive confident enough to back their optimism with some cash.
